I found Julian as he came highly recommended. I recently had a Level 3 survey completed by Julian on a potential house. The report was incredibly thorough and detailed and gave me confidence and peace of mind in my decision regarding the purchase. Julian is excellent.He conducted a level 3 building survey on a property of mixed ages dating back to1800 and sent me a wonderfully comprehensive report.He alerted me to matters that I could not have known about, as well as the ones I had been anticipating. After I'd read through the report, Julian spent time on the 'phone answering my follow-up questions and explaining clearly the implications of various matters. He gave me a good idea of the drawbacks. He also advised me about possible future problems that no-one can be sure about at this stage.Armed with that information, I have more confidence to continue with my purchase.I am very glad to have found Julian. If I need a surveyor again I will have no hesitation in going back to him.
Julian has carried out two building surveys for us. He was surveying the properties within days of us getting in contact and the reports were sent prompty. The surveys are very thorough, clear and concise. We would highly recommend his services and happily use him for all our surveying needs.
Julian managed the renovation of our barns for additional accommodation and the redevelopment of the other outbuildings into a new gym. His services were invaluable in keeping to the agreed budget and on top of the different trades required to complete the job. Julian approached each element of the job with an eye to detail ensuring that what we designed was delivered. This project was delivered during the pandemic with considerable material price inflationary pressures so we were very pleased that it was delivered on time and on budget.
We engaged Record Associates to help manage a £600k refurbishment of factory and office space - from tendering and contractor selection to completion. If I had a similar project I would use Julian again.
I had a dispute with a builder regarding the construction of a new build garage (see before and after photos). There were aesthetic and technical issues. Julian Record’s expertise and reporting helped to resolve the issue and the builder rebuilt the external leaf.Highly recommended.
