Whilst working at Drivers Jonas Deloitte I was the lead engagement partner and project manager for development of a new 200 bedroom student accommodation facility at the main university campus in Aberystwyth.
The programme for the development was the critical driving factor with entire development being completed and handed over in less than a year, ready for the start of the 2010 academic year.
The new student accommodation was designed to achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating and entailed a factory fabricated modular form of construction to speed up delivery, minimise disruption on site and maximise quality.
The project was abandoned due programme delays arising from the planning application process.
